Available in France and Italy, the “Language Buddy” program offers the opportunity for participants to become a conversation friend to a local family while sharing their everyday life. They may speak to one or several family members in order to help them improve their language skills through conversation. The participant may also have to assist them with their homework. The amount of time dedicated to conversations should be 15 hours/week

The Volunteer Teacher Assistant shadows one or many language teachers during classes at a local school and provides teaching and learning support in whatever way possible. The international volunteering experience acquired during the program will look great on a CV and enhance the participant’s professional career as well as being an excellent opportunity for participants to develop communication/ teaching skills and learn some basics of the destination language. At the same time, the program encourages local students at a school to learn about different cultures and improve their language skills by interacting with a native speaker.

The Family Stay program offers an authentic insight into the French lifestyle! Participants spend their entire stay with a host family that considers them as a family member. Three half days of fun or cultural activities are included besides family outings. Participants can select the “area choice” option between 6 specific areas.

The Summer Camp takes place in the well-known Loire Valley, near the towns of Tours and Blois. The program offers a great opportunity for international students to learn French and discover the French culture. They attend languages courses in the mornings and participate in a variety of organized activities in the afternoons.

The intensive French language classes are designed specifically for the summer camp. Students enjoy lessons that target all areas of the language, but with a strong focus on speaking and listening. Participants take 3 hours of French per day in small groups and will receive a course report and certificate.
